Unfortunately, no ruling has yet to officially come down about publishing their Linux driver source-code under with a GNU GPL. However, our sources at XGI have said next week we should hear some more information about the proposed OSS driver model. Nevertheless, the Volari 8300 driver source-code for 2D support will be released to X.Org next week and another Linux driver (v1.04.13) will be launched. As of writing we have yet to come across any CHANGELOG for the new driver set. More information will be added later.
