New Year Edition Wrapping up the last week of the year between Christmas and the New Year, we began on December 25 with a small write-up on the Scratch-Less Disc CD-R, which is a traditional CD-R but offers safeguards against the CD being scratched during normal wear-and-tear on desktops and what not. Following that we posted our ATI and NVIDIA AYiR (A Year in Review) articles to wrap up 2005. On with some software action we had posted screenshots of MediainLinux v4.0 RC5 and the Solaris-based BeleniX LiveCD v0.3. Starting off the new year we have a review of OCZ's EL PC-4000 2GB Gold GX XTC system memory. January should bring a wealth of additional articles at Phoronix and pyroCPU, along with some very interesting pieces to come after the Las Vegas CES running from January 5th to the 8th.
