AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 Announced today by Advanced Micro Devices is their Athlon 64 FX-60 processor. The FX-60 is a 90nm dual-core processor that packs in 233 million transistors, with 128KB of L1 cache per core while the L2 cache is sized at 1024KB. This latest Socket 939 Athlon FX edition comes weeks after Intel had announced its LGA-775 Pentium Extreme Edition 955 that boasts a 65nm process and packs in 2048kb for each of its two cores.
