Abit Troubles Over? With Abit's debt quickly piling up, which forced them to sell such things as their properties. However, are the tough times now behind them? Our friends at The Inquirer have just delivered word that Abit will be merging with USI, or officially known as Universal Scientific Industrial Company. USI is a rather large OEM player in the PC world and, among other things, makes many parts for IBM/Lenovo notebook computers, servers, and desktops. We are still working on acquiring additional information from our sources in the industry and will update accordingly as information is received. Hopefully this Abit and USI merger will mark the end of tough times for Abit as they start the road to recovery with pumping out its usual arsenal of enthusiast products.
