We at Phoronix have wrapped up our review of the ASRock 775XFire-eSATA2. The 775XFire-eSATA2 is powered by the Intel 945PL + ICH-7R Chipset and has been found with a few modifications to support limited ATI CrossFire features as well as external SATA support. Although ATI developers have yet to append any Linux CrossFire support, we had attempted to run NVIDIDA SLI on the board due to a peculiar marking found on the PCB, however, the present 1.0-8178 failed to operate in this mode.
