The group of people at Data-Tec have the DS350, which is just that, an external 3.5" SATA HDD external enclosure. The device includes everything needed to get started from a SATA extension cable, to even a SATA expansion slot header, for expanding your motherboard's Serial ATA ports if they are not of external nature -- like the ASUS P5LD2 or ASRock 775XFire-eSATA2 type. The overall construction is satisfactory and it is quite an easy installation, although some screws are required and isn't as easy as the Thermaltake Muse line-up. Features include aluminum construction, hot-swapping, rubber vibration pads, and meets Serial ATA 2.0 specifications.
