Albatron K8SLI We at Phoronix have wrapped up our testing of the Albatron K8SLI. The motherboard sports NVIDIA's nForce4 SLI Chipset and of course uses an Athlon 64 Socket 939 interface. In our testing, we had ran it up against the Tyan Tomcat K8E-SLI S2866. Although the Linux SLI performance is ridiculous, the K8SLI overclocking was moderate being able to reach 260MHz x 9. It is considered a budget motherboard with a price-point of about $100 USD. In addition, it had no problems with Linux except for LM_Sensors. For our complete thoughts on the motherboard, it's review is here. Off topic, some of the pages at Phoronix have been updated, and miscellaneous other areas, such as the article page. Everything should be relatively settled for now, however, new comments and suggestions are always welcome in regards to what our readers would enjoy seeing.
