Yet again, ATI's Linux developers woe red users with yet another driver update! For this month's release, ATI has dubbed its drivers v8.22.5, and on the Microsoft Windows CATALYST side is v6.2 (February 2006). This month's fglrx update is somewhat minimal, while at the same time is very important to some users. Version 8.22.5 features stock support for the 2.6.15 kernel as well as chip ID and mode-line improvements. The IA32 and x86_64 drivers are small at approximately 30MB for its universal installer.
